In the dynamic world of real estate, achieving 40 years of success is no small feat. Lands Real Estate, formerly Dove Real Estate, began in November 1983 with founders Peter Lands and Kevin Smith. From humble beginnings in Modbury Heights, they navigated challenges and seized opportunities, shaping a legacy of resilience and excellence.
The year 1984 marked a significant milestone as Dove Real Estate transitioned to its first commercial premises located at 2/245 Milne Road, Modbury Heights. Over the years, the agency continued to grow, leading to a relocation in 1989 to 8/1240 North East Road, St Agnes.
By 1993, changes were afoot as Peter and Susanne took over the agency and began to steer the ship alone. Faced with pivotal decisions, they opted to take full control of the business, marking a new chapter in its history.
In 1995, amid tough market conditions, Peter and Susanne contemplated selling the business. However, fate intervened and instead of selling they reaffirmed their dedication to the real estate business.
A pivotal rebranding took place in 1996, transforming Dove Real Estate into Lands Real Estate. This change set the stage for further growth and development of the business.
In 2003 Peter seized an opportunity in Pooraka, the agency relocated to 7/2 Montague Road, Pooraka, also known as the Montague Farm Shopping Centre.
January 19, 2004, a significant milestone occurred as our current Director, Mark Lands officially commenced his journey in real estate, bringing fresh energy and perspective to the agency.
In 2013, after a decade at their previous location, Lands Real Estate relocated to 5/128 Bridge Road, Pooraka, signaling a new chapter in their journey.
In 2019 a succession plan was concluded that saw Peter and Susanne step down as directors, paving the way for Mark and Rebecca to take the helm. However, their transition was met with unexpected challenges as the onset of COVID-19 caused widespread uncertainty.
Despite the turbulence, Lands Real Estate continued to thrive and have been racked up many significant industry awards such as:

In July 2022, Rebecca and Mark purchased our current headquarters ‘The Bank’ located at 78 Payneham Road, Stepney, setting the stage for further growth and expansion.
It has been an amazing journey and we would collectively like to thank those that came before. Every team member, every client and every person that has interacted with our agency. The success and integrity of Lands Real Estate is a legacy that is directly related to the quality of leadership and ethics instilled into the fabric of the agency by Peter and Susanne Lands.
